Since 1995, Leah has designed and tailored marketing campaigns for small businesses, retail sales, state outreach programs, and entrepreneurs.
Using solid and proven direct response techniques and strategies in diverse industries (travel, retail, education, weight loss, biz op, financial planning, pets), Leah’s campaigns have successfully promoted a variety of products, services and events (tours, seminars, supplements, newsletters, conferences, information products, shoes, lessons, fundraising events, and books).
In 2005, Leah founded Catalyst Copy, LLC in order to focus exclusively on her passion and talent – direct response marketing. While Leah’s education and experience are well suited for any market, she has earned a reputation among clients and colleagues as the “go-to-gal” for marketing to women.
Considering that U.S., women make 80% of all consumer purchases and 94% of all consumer purchase decisions; Leah’s consistent ability to connect with what Tom Peters calls “Earth’s Largest Economy” and motivate them to buy is invaluable to any business.
Leah is uniquely qualified as a copywriter who specializes in marketing to women. After four years of college as a marketing major, Leah was drawn to the adventurous world of anthropology.
In grad school and beyond, she had her share of Indiana Jones style adventures in Mayan jungles and Egyptian deserts. She also immersed herself in studies and research in women’s culture, body image, narrative structure, traditional medicine, health beliefs, and contemporary issues.
To become one of the leading young copywriters in her field – and to maintain that position – Leah seeks guidance from the best in the business. Whether its as a recurring member of John Carlton’s exclusive “Insider” club, Michel Fortin’s all-access Copy Doctor program, or the intense, hands-on, take-no-prisoners mentoring from Dr. Harlan Kilstein, Leah absorbs every ounce of information from her mentors, adds her own talent and experience to pull together state of the art campaigns for her clients.
In addition to print, direct mail and radio campaigns, Leah has an intimate knowledge of internet marketing and stays on top of this rapidly changing marketing landscape. A big fan of casting a wide net at a targeted market, Leah loves helping offline businesses and entrepreneurs join the online community and online businesses dramatically expand their customer base through offline marketing.
Through her coaching on how to add depth to product and service offerings, Leah specializes in customizing marketing funnels that help businesses maximize their profits by lowering the cost of acquiring clients, increasing the maximum lifetime value of clients, and providing a stunning return on investment for her clients.
